IF YOU COULD CLICK YOUR HEELS AND BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE? Mykonos, Greece
MOST EMBARASSING MOMENT: Between classes at NAU, I once ran to Oak Creek Canyon for some quick fly fishing. I pressed a trout against my black shirt when I almost dropped it. I forgot about it until my next class when someone asked me if I blew my nose on my shirt.
WHERE IN THE WORLD HAVE YOU TRAVELED? Nearly everywhere. I stopped counting around 45 countries, but there's always more to explore!
WHERE IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE IN THE U.S. TO VISIT? Big Sky, MT
Brian is a Northern Arizona University alum, Lake Geneva Native, and outdoor Jedi. Melding his love of the outdoors with his passion for entrepreneurship was just what the doctor ordered. Now, Brian is pretty much the ghost in the machine, literally. He can be on the phone, remote accessing a computer in the store, and hosting a Zoom call all while riding his bike at Kettle Moraine. We sometimes wonder if there are multiple clones of him; which would be awesome because you just can’t have enough Waspi!

WHERE IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE IN THE U.S. TO VISIT? Siesta Key, FL or Jerome, AZ.
Sean is like Sam from Cheers, everyone knows his name and they're always glad to see him. A lot of customers ask for him when they come in... Probably in part because he's "sexah," but he also really knows his stuff. He's so good at helping people find the right gear that it borders on ESP. A proud father, he's a good one to ask about kids clothing and gear too.
MARY BIEDRZYCKI
DELAFIELD STORE MANAGER
WORD THAT DESCRIBES HER: Positive
FAVORITE OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES: Paddling, hiking, x-country skiing, biking and fishing
FAVORITE GEAR: I really love ALL our gear at CWO, but really cannot live without my Chaco footwear, Patagonia Torrentshell Jacket and merino baselayers... Oh, and I really, really LOVE the new Clif Nut Butter filled bars- You have to try one, they are amazing and great to take on ANY adventure!
BEST OUTDOORS EXPERIENCE: I absolutely fell in love with Yosemite National Park, BUT there was something magical about spending a day x-country skiing down the backside of the Porcupine Mts on a sunny March day.
IF YOU COULD CLICK YOUR HEELS AND BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE? I would absolutely love to go to Iceland... From glaciers to volcanoes, the island seems hauntingly beautiful! Icelandic horses are amazing to ride and that's how I would travel through part of this countryside.
WHERE IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE IN THE U.S. TO VISIT? I crave being by water and can spend endless hours just walking... From the white sands of Siesta Key or the shores of Lake Michigan to the banks of the Columbia River Gorge.
There's something about Mary... But really, she's kind, considerate and caring, and makes visits to the Delafield store that much more fun. Mary really knows her stuff, and you can't help smiling after a conversation with her.

MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT: I had just won a gymnastics competition and when I went up to get my trophy, I tripped getting onto the podium and fell head first off the top step, knocking over the people bringing me my award. We all ended up in a big pile on the floor... in front of lots of people.

WEIRDEST QUIRK: I have to sleep with socks on no matter how hot it is. If i don't have socks on... I won't sleep.
Kellie likes to talk, so it's a good thing she's so knowledgeable about our products (especially socks). She's the uber-cool camp counselor you always wish you had. Go ahead, ask her anything... you're sure to get solid advice and probably a good laugh.

IF YOU COULD CLICK YOUR HEELS AND BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE? New Zealand, top of my list of places to visit, and this would eliminate the long fight there! But would I be able to click my heals if/when I was ready to come back?
WHAT'S WORSE; PAPER CUT OR CLOSING YOUR FINGER IN A DOOR? I'd say that getting your finger caught on a chain link fence tops both, but if you need to know more I’ll field any and all inquires individually.
Brian (we call him BK or Kalvey as not to confuse him with Waspi) is the man behind the curtain. Heading up the Department of Awesomeness, he's at the center of the "nerve center" of Clear Water Outdoor. Every product that comes in or goes out must first pass through Kalvey's careful inspection. His attention to detail hovers somewhere between cyborg super power and divine intervention. He also handles making sure your awesome online purchases get sent out. BK recently grew a beard and we're trying to convince him to keep it. Feel free to send him a message about how sexah' he looks with a beard.

Lindsay (Linz) keeps all the paperwork flowing and organized. Even "outdoor" businesses have basements and piles of paperwork. That's Lindsay's jam. With the number of moving parts and volume of product that flows through, it's a wonder he brain doesn't melt.

Though still part of the team, Sarah now lives in sunny California and has transitioned into a public-facing role for the Outdoor Retailer Association. You'll find her smiling face at all the trade shows and working tirelessly for the industry we all hold so dear. Keep fighting the good fight Sarah!
